Safety and Security with Ripplex

One of the goals for Ripplex is to offer an infrastructure where user can exchange personal information safely and securely.

Ripplex is a client application, not a web service.

The PMM search is a new proprietary technology that does not allow strangers with no information about you to find you and at the same time, you can also disallow some of the people you know from searching you.

PMM Search has the following features.

People who do not have your information can not find you
You can also disallow people you know from searching you
The information registered to server is Hash which can never be recovered or read
There is less possibility for multiple hits for same name compared to general search systems

Ripplex provides a way to confirm that a request for a link is indeed from the person you know. With this feature, you can avoid to link with people who pretend to be your friends.

Your information is sent to your friend only after the link is accepted and you have set the disclosure settings (to disclose some of your information).

Your information sent to your friends is encrypted by your friend's public key. No one else (not even Ripplex Inc.) can read the transmitted information.

With Multi-Computer Sync feature enabled, encrypted copy of your data is kept on Ripplex server. Your data can be decrypted only by your computers.

You have the primary ownership to disclose your information to group.
