Growing address book

SafetyWith Multi-Computer Sync feature enabled, encrypted copy of your data is kept on Ripplex server. Your data can be decrypted only by your computers.

Safety6
Ripplex address book can automatically synchronize your address book data between all your computers. This is done by enabling Multi-Computer Sync option.

For synchronization between all your computers, your data is encrypted with your public key and send to Ripplex server. When you synchronize, the data on the server will be sent to your computer and decrypted to use.

On the other hand, in web services, data may be encrypted while sending on the internet, but your information is saved as readable information on their servers. With Ripplex, the data on the server is encrypted with your private key. Since your private key is only on your computers, no one else can read your information, not even Ripplex Inc.

With Ripplex, your data is much more private and therefore safe compared to many other web services. If you would like to not have your data stored at all on Ripplex servers, please make sure that you do not enable the Multi-Computer Sync feature (once enabled, it can not be disabled). In that case, no data will be stored on Ripplex servers but you will not be able to synchronize your multiple computers.
