Synchronization Between Multiple Computers

You can install Ripplex Address Book on multiple computers (either Windows based or Mac OS based) and setup with the same account. When you do this, you can have access to your Ripplex Address Book from all of your computers (e.g. Home Desktop/Laptop, Work Desktop/Laptop, etc.). Every modification from any computer will be automatically synchronized with each other!

With Ripplex Address Book version 1.1, your account will be automatically setup for Multi-Computer Synchronization when you setup your account for the first time or when you upgrade from earlier version. So all you need to do is to start using Ripplex Address Book on multiple computers, and setup the account with existing ID on a different computer as outlined in "Setting Up an Existing Account". If you have difficulty with this feature in version 1.1, please refer "Enable Multi-Computer Sync feature".

Please note that Ripplex server will store the data contained in your Ripplex Address Book on its servers in encrypted form. Since the data on server is encrypted with your public key, only you (i.e. Computers with your particular Ripplex Address Book) can decrypt the data. One side benefit of this feature is that you get a backup of your data (which can be retrieved by you) as long as you know your Ripplex ID and password.
