Link with a Friend Using Link-Invite
One easy way to establish a link with a friend is to send an email which includes a particular string that would help your friend find you once he/she downloads and start using Ripplex. This feature is called Link-Invite.
By using Link-Invite, you can invite friends who are not even using Ripplex yet to start using it. By accepting your Link-Invite, they can bypass the PMM search and confidently start the process of establishing 1-1 secured link with you. You can also send a Link-Invite to a friend who is using Ripplex but for what ever reason, either one of you would rather use Link-Invite method instead of PMM search method.
Following are the steps involved in establishing a link with a friend using Link-Invite:
One friend sends a Link-Invite to other friend. Please refer "Link-Invite a friend to establish a Ripplex Link" for more details.
- The recipient of Link-Invite accepts the invitation and in turn sends a link request to the sender of Link-Invite. Please refer "Accept Link-Invite" for more details
- The sender of the Link-Invite accepts the link request. Please refer "Accept link request from your friend" for more details.
