Link with a Friend Who has Indirect Link

1) If you have a link with a Shared Category owner, then you have an indirect link with all the group members of that particular group who also have a link with the group owner. In the following example, you (Lisa) and "Greg" have an indirect link. You can send a link request to a friend with whom you have an indirect link without PMM search.

2) If you have an indirect link with a friend then the link status for that friend is shown as Link, as shown below for Greg. Select a friend with indirect link (Greg in the example below) (A) and click Link Status Icon for Greg or Link button on tool bar (B) and then click "Next" (C).

3) Link Window for that friend (Greg in this example) appears as shown below. To send the Link request, please click "Send Link Request" (A). In this window, you can see more details about your status with Greg as well as can choose not take any action by clicking "Close".

4) Now the status of the link with Greg changes from Link to Link. You can close the Link window by clicking "Close". You may cancel the link request by clicking "Unlink" at any time.

5) When your friend (Greg in this example) accepts your request then the link is established (A) and the link status changes from Link to Link in both Friends' window (Detail View is shown below). Now it is possible to share information with each other as per the disclosure setting. For disclosure of information, please refer "Disclose information". Information and updates are automatically sent through the 1-1 link as encrypted messages without having to share or store this information on a third party server. You can go to Link Window of a particular friend at any time by clicking the link status icon of that friend.
