How Do I Link with Friends?
To link with your friends in Ripplex Address Book, follow the steps outlined below.
1) You need to find your friend or your friend needs to find you. There are three ways to do this.
- Use PMM search to find matches between profiles in your Ripplex Address Book and people using Ripplex Address Book. The matches are presented to you as possible candidates.
- See which profiles have indirect links with you. Since a linked friend of yours has already established a link with this person you can proceed to step 2 without PMM search.
- Send an invitation to a friend to use Ripplex Address Book and accept a Link-Invite from you. When your friend accepts your Link-Invite, he/she can proceed to step 2 without PMM search.
2) Send a link request to a friend and wait for him/her to accept your request. On the other hand, see which friends have sent you a link Request and accept the links to establish the 1-1 link.
3) The link is established! Please make sure that your disclosure settings are set correctly. This can be done individually for his/her friend or as a part of category. Note that partial information for friends in the shared and external service categories that you manage/won are now shared with your linked friends as well.
