Windows Overview
You will know that there are 5 mainly used windows, explained below, in Ripplex Address Book.
1) Friends' Information Window Overview
This is the window that you mainly use. It is used to see Your Friend's information and enter your own information.
There are two views for a Friends' Information window, "Icon" view and "Detail" view. You can switch between these two views by clicking the two view buttons as shown below. You also can switch between these two views by double clicking an entry of any friend. You can open as many Friends' Information windows as you like. To open Friends' Information window, click [Window] > [New Window]. Please refer "Friend's information window" for more details.
2) My Information and Disclosure Setting Window Overview
By clicking "My Info" button, you can open My Information and Disclosure Setting window at any time. You can also open this window by clicking [Window] > [My Information]. In this window, you can edit your own information and disclosure settings for a particular friend or category. You may set disclosure settings for any category except "All Friends" and "Uncategorized" categories. You can only set disclosure for individual friends who are linked with you or to whom you have sent link request. Please refer "My info and Disclosure Setting window" for more details.
3) Link Window Overview
Link Window is used to link with your friends in Ripplex Address Book. Once you have a bidirectional link with your friend, you can exchange and update contact information to each other directly without any access to that information to any third party including Ripplex. Please refer "Link with Friends" for more details. To open Link Window for a particular friend, select a friend and click "Link" (D) button or just click the Link icon of a particular friend (E).
4) Inbox Window Overview
Inbox Window shows the list of one line messages from Ripplex Address Book for change in status or information of your friends or categories due to actions taken by others. To open Inbox Window, click "Inbox" (F) as shown below. Please refer "Inbox window" for more details.
5) Sending Mood Messages
You can send a mood message to both Skype and Twitter from Ripplex Address Book at the same time. To open the window for editing mood message, please click "Send Mood Message" button (A). To send mood message, enter your message (B), select Skype and/or Twitter (C) and click "OK" (D). Please refer "Mood Messages" for more details.
