Add Friend
Detail View of Friends' Information window, provides list of friends and detail information for a selected friend. For a friend with whom you already linked, the information disclosed by the friend as well as information entered by you is shown in the right section as shown below.
Note) You may not need to add all the information of a friend in Ripplex Address Book since once linked, that friend will disclose his/her contact information to you. One easy way to add lots of friends at once is to import contacts as shown in "Import friends' Information ".
In Ripplex Address Book, all the information you enter is saved only in this computer. The friend's information you add in Ripplex Address Book is only used to perform PMM search without disclosing your or your friend's personal information to Ripplex or any other third party server. Your friend's information that you enter in your Ripplex Address Book is only for your use. Since all of your friends may not be using Ripplex Address Book when you first start using Ripplex Address Book yourself, having more information of all your friends in your Ripplex Address Book is useful.
In "Detail" View of Friends' Information window, you can add new friends to friends list, by clicking "+ Add New Friend" and then click [New Friend]. You can do this in Icon View as well. You can also add new friend from menu [Friend] > [New Friend] or by right clicking in the window showing friends list.
