Link with Skype and Twitter friends

The friends you have as you Skype contact or as your "Following" and "Follower" in Twitter is automatically imported in your Ripplex Address Book. Ripplex searches for these friends and let you know when they are found using Ripplex so that you can link with them easily. Once linked, you can disclose many other contact information to each other such as email IDs, chat/IM IDs, phone numbers, SNS IDs, postal addresses etc.

Auto search Skype/Twitter friends in Ripplex

When Ripplex finds your friend, you will get a message saying "Found XX" on the left bottom of your screen. By clicking there, you can initiate the link process with that friend. In order to link with your friends, your Ripplex Address Book need to know their registered Email address or Skype or Twitter user names and their address books need to know at least one such information about you. To link with many friends, make sure you ask your friends who use Skype or Twitter to provide necessary information in Ripplex so that Ripplex can find and link you with your friends.

Send a Link request to a friend

When Ripplex finds friend, click

mark next to that friend (indication that the friend is found) to send a Link request to that friend. You can also optionally select the information you would like to disclose to this friend. When your friend accepts your request you will be linked with and be able to see the friend's disclosed information as well.

Accept a Link request from a friend

When your friend sends you a link request,

mark appears next to that friend's profile. Click the mark and accept Link request to you see the friend’s disclosed information. You can also disclose your selected information to the friend. The updates on disclosed information will be automatically updated in each other's address book as and when it changes!

To Ver.1.0 users

In version 1.0, Name, Telephone numbers and Email addresses were all used as items by which you can search your friends. In order to simply the user interface and to amke sure that you find only your friends reliably, in version 1.1 only registered Email address, Skype ID and Twitter IDs are used as search items. You cannot search friends by any other items. In future, we will add more items to this list.
