Link with your friends

The friends you have as you Skype contact or as your "Following" and "Follower" in twitter, friends who knows each other 's email address and mixi's ID is automatically imported in your Ripplex Address Book. Ripplex searches for these friends and let you know when they are found using Ripplex so that you can link with them easily. Once linked, you can disclose many other contact information to each other such as email IDs, chat/IM IDs, phone numbers, SNS IDs, postal addresses etc.

To Ver.1.1.x users

Ripplex Address Book need to know their registered Email address and their address books need to know at least one of your email address. To link with many friends, make sure you provide many of your current email address in Ripplex so that your friends can find you easily.

When Ripplex finds your friend, you will get a message saying "Found XX" on the left bottom of your screen. By clicking there, you can initiate the link process with that friend. In order to link with your friends, your Ripplex Address Book need to know their registered Email address or Skype or twitter user names and their address books need to know at least one such information about you. To link with many friends, make sure you ask your friends who use Skype or twitter to provide necessary information in Ripplex so that Ripplex can find and link you with your friends.

When Ripplex finds friend, clickmark next to that friend (indication that the friend is found) to send a Link request to that friend. You can also optionally select the information you would like to disclose to this friend. When your friend accepts your request you will be linked with and be able to see the friend's disclosed information as well.

When your friend sends you a link request, You'll receive link request from Ripplex. Launch your Ripplex and click mark next to that friend's profile. You can accept Link request to you see the friend’s disclosed information. You can also disclose your selected information to the friend. The updates on disclosed information will be automatically updated in each other's address book as and when it changes!

Now you can link with your friends from mixi. mixi is one of the popular social networking service in Japan. Once you add your mixi's ID as your information, Your friend who know your mixi's ID can find you easily on Ripplex address book. In addition, you have more chance to link with your mixi friends if you add your friend's mixi information.
