There are so many members' lists around you don't even know where and how update they all are. At school, at company, for school reunion, at clubs, etc. It is difficult for the people who manage such lists to make sure that they are up to date. They need to collect, enter and update the information, then distribute it to members. Especially in situation like school reunion where people don't see each other often, it is harder to manage the information. There could also be concerns about how much information is shared or who all has your information.

Scene1: Shared category organizer adds the member

Explanation 1 In this case, Lisa is the owner (in charge of managing member's list). The members of this club are Lisa, Daniel, Greg, and Julia. Lisa creates a Ripplex shared category and then adds 3 members to the shared category. That's all!

Scene2: Share the information between members.

Explanation 2 For all shared category members who are Ripplex users the list of members and any other information shared is readily available. In this example, Greg and Daniel use Ripplex so they can see the member's list immediately.

Scene 3: Share the information of the people who don't use Ripplex.

Addressbook Explanation You can also include people who don't use Ripplex to the list. In this example, Julia doesn't use Ripplex but she is in the distributed list.

Scene 4: Greg discloses his email address to all the members in the shared category.

Explanation 4 For example, if Greg wants to disclose his email address to all the members, then he changes the disclosure setting for the shared category in Ripplex and his email address will appear in Ripplex user's list. Lisa, as an owner of the member's list, doesn't have to do anything.

Scene 5: Greg discloses Skype ID to Daniel.

Explanation 5 For example, if Daniel wants to disclose his Skype ID only to Greg, then he changes the disclosure setting for Greg. Skype information will only appear in Greg's Ripplex. Up till now, there has not been any convenient way to share information selectively for each person in member's list, but it is very easy to do so with Ripplex. Here again, Lisa doesn't have to do anything.

Scene 6: Greg updates his email address.

Explanation 5 What's more, when Greg updates his email address, the information is automatically updated in Ripplex address books for all the people to whom he disclosed that particular information. Again, Lisa doesn't have to do anything.
Explanation 5 In this example, Julia doesn't use Ripplex so she can not enjoy all these benefits. But Lisa, Greg and Daniel can get a lot from using Ripplex. The interesting aspect of this shared category features is that even when all the shared category member do not use Ripplex, the Ripplex users benefit and have easier time with various shared category lists.

If you are the owner or organizer of a member list, please use Ripplex to manage the member list. If more of the members use Ripplex, less update work will come your way and that is without any loss of privacy for any body's and private information!
