You have many contact information such as various telephone numbers, email addresses, mail addresses, etc. Also, you may use SNS such as MySpace and Facebook, or chat and voice call services such as Windows Live, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Skype. If you have several ways to communicate with some one, it would be nice and convenient to select a particular communication channel given a particular situation.
Scene 1: You change the setting to show MySpace information to Greg.

With Ripplex you can control which address and numbers to show to whom. Select friends in Ripplex and check the address or number you want to disclose. You can select multiple friends or all friends. You can check the disclosure box of one item or several items, for example "disclose email address and MySpace ID to Daniel and Greg". |
Scene 2: Your MySpace icon will show up in Greg's address book.

If you change the setting to disclose your MySpace display name to Greg, MySpace icon will show up in Greg's Ripplex. Greg needs to only click the MySpace icon in your entry in his Ripplex and be able to see your MySpace page. Very easy, isn't it?! |
Scene 3: Your MySpace icon will not appear in Mr. Taylor's address book.

If you didn't disclose your MySpace ID to Mr. Taylor (your boss), MySpace icon won't appear in his Ripplex for your entry. He can not see your MySpace page, at least from Ripplex. |
Scene 4: You change the setting to show your email address to Mr. Taylor.

If your setting allows Mr. Taylor to see your email address, email icon will appear against your entry in his Ripplex. |
Scene 5: Your email address will appear in Mr. Taylor's address book.

Scene 6: Your email address icon won't appear in Greg's address book.
